What is Holy Waters?

Holy Waters is a four-day decentralized festival devoted to wine and beer culture. There will be events happening all over Toronto ranging from educational symposiums to beer and wine parties. The crescendo of events will conclude with the Holy Waters Wine Festival where people can drink the wines of over 50 natural, biodynamic, organic and low intervention producers from all over the world!

Wednesday 24 July

ADVANCING WOMEN IN THE BEER INDUSTRY

What: Join us at Bellwoods Brewery for an engaging afternoon with Brienne Allan as she discusses her work in developing the Boston Chapter of the Pink Boots Society and how it has changed both the work and consumer beer culture in Massachusetts. Brienne is the Production Manager and Brewer at Notch Brewing as well as the Boston Chapter Lead of the Pink Boots Society. This event is free and everyone is welcome, make sure to RSVP via info@bellwoodsbrewery.com

MIKKELLER BAGHAVEN BOTTLE FEATURE WITH MASTER BREWER & BLENDER

What: Meet Ehren Schmidt, the Master Brewer and Blender of Mikkeller Baghaven as we pour his beers for the first time ever in Ontario.

BELLWOODS BREWERY CELLAR RAID AND TAP EVENT

What: Join Bellwoods Brewery for a rare and special look back in time at some of their 

favourite cellared beers and some special surprises.

HOLY WATERS BEER SYMPOSIUM

What: Presented by Paradise Grapevine and Escarpment Laboratories the Holy Waters Beer Symposium is a full day of beer and brewing technical seminars presented by leading experts from all over the world. 

Where: Burdock Barrel Warehouse, 201 Geary Ave, Toronto

When: July 25th from 9am-5pm

HOLY LAGERS

What: All lagers, all night! A tap takeover event at WVRST that showcases the best lager brewers in Ontario, and some from afar!

Where: WVRST, 609 King St W, Toronto

What: Presented by Paradise Grapevine and Escarpment Laboratories the Holy Waters Beer Symposium is a full day of wine and winemaking technical seminars presented by leading experts from all over the world.

HAZY WATERS

What: We asked 20 of the best hoppy brewers in Ontario to brew a one-off hoppy style to be released on the one night, Hazy Waters at Birreria Volo!

HOLY WATERS WINE FESTIVAL - THE MAIN EVENT!

What: Paradise Grapevine presents the Holy Waters Wine Festival! Drink the wines from over 50 different natural, biodynamic, organic and low intervention winemakers from around the world! A ticket gains you admission, your own festival wine glass and ALL YOUR WINE!

Where: The 918 Bathurst Centre, Toronto

When: Session 1 runs 1pm-5pm, Session 2 runs 7pm-11pm
